Braga Science Film Fest is an international science short film festival. Totally free, the festival is focused on promoting science communication through cinema, by nurturing the dialogue between scientific ideas and concepts and audiovisual narratives with creative content, accessible to different audiences. Apart from the short films in competition, the festival includes non-competitive sessions with some of the best films that have been screened by partner festivals, and a series of workshops and lectures that offer participants tools to understand and explore the potential of audiovisual in science.

Developed graphic design concepts for ATLAS Experiment merchandise, including limited-edition items for specific programmes and products created for the official ATLAS Store.

Filmed and edited trend-driven short-form videos adapted to CERN’s digital communication.

Personal Website

Created an interactive personal website using Google Docs as an open collaborative platform, where visitors could edit content, leave comments, and contribute suggestions. The project generated hundreds of public interactions and helped secure opportunities with communication agencies and editorial projects in Barcelona, Prague, Berlin, and Copenhagen.

Ana Henriques arrived at CERN in 1988 as a summer student, and never wanted to leave. She assumed the roles of technical coordinator and project leader of the ATLAS Tile Calorimeter, being involved in its design, construction, and installation processes. Later, she took the lead on the High Granularity Timing Detector (HGTD) project, while also being in charge of the hadronic calorimeter concept development for the Future Circular Hadron Collider (FCC-hh). Currently, she is the resources coordinator for the HGTD.

Writing and managing the Portuguese Astronomical Society’s newsletter, including editorial content, audience segmentation, and campaign distribution through Brevo, consistently achieving open rates above 55%.

Designed a visual identity for the ATLAS Experiment to highlight the use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning across research activities. The logo was later adapted for official merchandise, including stickers available through the ATLAS Store.
